Description | From: Robert Kilwardby, archbishop of Canterbury
Of a notification by Stephen Langton, archbishop of Canterbury. The abbot and convent of Bec Abbey have given him power to make an order concerning the church of Saltwood [Kent]. He orders that the Priory of St Philbert-sur-Risle [Eure, France] shall receive an annual payment of 15 marks from the rector of the church, payable as specified, and can claim nothing more in the church. The archbishop of Canterbury shall have the patronage. No date [1207x1228].
