A tenement called 'Newyn' opposite St Nicholas's church, Sevenoaks, to east, with a garden and a croft called 'Dambelesfeld' adjoining, as John Grebby lately held it, together with all the profits from the lands. The grant is made to William Cokk' for the term of his life for the good and faithful service he has rendered and will render in the future.
Given at the Archbishop's Palace, Canterbury.

Confirmation, presumably by the prior and convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory, dated Mar 1517 [almost obliterated].
