Description | Party: the prior and convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory Party: 'Dominus' William de Longo campo, son of Osbert de Longo campo The dispute between the priory and William concerning 2 carrucates of land in the vill ('villa') of Stisted by a writ of right before the king's justices of the bench has now been settled. William shall hold the lands, for which he used to pay £10 a year, of the priory for an annual payment of £16, payable as specified in the priory's treasury at Canterbury. For the sake of peace, the priory quitclaims to William for all arrears, demands and debts they were seeking from him up to 25 Dec 1238.
