To: the prior and convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory

A plea was moved in the king's court at Westminster before the king's justices of the bench between the priory as plaintiff and Henry as defendant by a writ of waste concerning tenements in Southwark, Surrey, which the priory had demised to Henry for the term of his life as is contained in the indenture made between them. The plea has now been settled. Henry has surrendered the tenements to the priory, together with the indenture and all goods of any kind within the tenements, and renounces all right or claim in the tenements and goods.
