In the king's court at Westminster before Geoffrey Fitz Peter, Richard de Heriet, Eustace de Fauconbridge, John de Gestling, Osbert Fitz Hervey, Godfrey de Insula and Walter de Crepping, justices, and others on 18 Nov 1203.
The priory was represented by its proctor Elias the monk and Alan was represented by John the clerk, his proctor. Alan acknowledged that a messuage in Southwark ('Sudwurke') is the right of the priory and quitclaimed to the priory for it. For this Geoffrey has paid Alan 20s.

Endorsed with description in early 13th cent hand and note of regnal year in late 13th cent hand.
