Description | From: Hubert of Bromfords [in Nevendon], son and heir of the late Roger of Bromfords Hubert recently called 'Dominus' Richard of Southchurch to warranty before 'Dominus' John de Lovetot and 'Dominus' Roger de Leicester, the king's justices, assigned by a writ of mort d'ancestor', for a messuage in the vill ('villa') of Southchurch in the hundred of Rochford, which messuage was late of Roger of Bromfords, Hubert's father. Hubert acknowledges that he has quitclaimed to Richard for the messuage for which he called him to warranty. Given at Southchurch [Essex].
