Description | From: Hubert of Bromfords [in Nevendon], son and heir of the late Roger of Bromfords Hubert recently vouched John of Benfleet ('Bemflet') to warranty before 'Dominus' John de Lovetot and 'Dominus' Roger de Leicester, the king's justices, assigned by a writ of mort d'ancestor', for 15 acres of land in the vill ('villa') of Southchurch in the hundred of Rochford. Hubert acknowledges that he has quitclaimed for the 15 acres for which he vouched John of Benfleet to warranty. Given at Southchurch [Essex].
