Several areas of text lost or illegible.] The whole of his part of a messuage in St Mary's parish Sandwich, lying with the land of the prior of Canterbury Cathedral Priory to east, the land of Randal ioymer? of London to west, the bank of the sea ('Ripa maris') to north and 'melleflete' to south. For an annual payment of whatever is owed to the lords of the fee and to royal right and in accordance with the use of the liberty of the town ('villa') of Sandwich. For this John and Matilda have also paid £7 as a gersum fine.
