The whole of the land [in Sandwich] which lies with the land which was of Martin the clerk to north, the water-channel ('fletum') of the sea to south, the land which was of Wibert the baker ('pistor') to east and the priory's land to west, quit of all service except royal service. For this the priory has paid 4 marks as a gersum fine. Made and recorded in the hundred court of Sandwich. No date. [Date: handwriting.]
