A messuage with a quay and the buildings built upon it in St Mary's parish Sandwich, lying with the priory's land to west, the land of John Peny to east, a common ditch ('commune fossatum') to south and beyond the king's highway to the sea to north. For royal service and whatever should be done according to the uses and customs of the liberty of the town ('villa') of Sandwich. The grant is made for Simon's soul, and the souls of his ancestors and successors and all the faithful departed. Dated 13EdwI, no month.
