Several small areas of text lost or obliterated.]A house with a curtilage and a quay with a wharf in the town ('villa') of Sandwich, lying with the priory's houses to west and east and the sea to north. For a term of 7 years from Easter 1281. If the priory incurs any expenses because of the repair or maintenance of the house, quay or wharf or because of a defect in the warranty, it shall retain the property beyond the end of the term until it is satisfied of the costs.
