Description | Party: William le Fete; Joan, wife of William le Fete, one of the heirs of 'Dominus' Peter of Southchurch, knight Party: John de Newenton' William and Joan have leased John a moiety of a marsh called 'Suthcherchemerssch'' for a term of 3 years. William is bound to John in the sum of £10 and is also bound to render him an account of the profits issuing from the £10 on 29 Sep. John grants that if William and Joan are bound so that he should have the moiety of the marsh until the end of the 3 years, William will be acquitted of the £10 and of rendering an account of it and the letters of obligation concerning it shall be void. John's part of indenture [William used the same seal on DCc-ChAnt/S/210]. Given at Southchurch [Essex].
