For a term of 5 years. For an annual payment of £7, payable as specified in the priory's treasury at Canterbury. Conditions on husbandry, repairs, hospitality and other conditions. Details of livery. Right of distraint, in Sandwich, Canterbury, or elsewhere in Kent, and re-entry if payment in arrears. The priory grants that Thomas and Thomas shall carry anything it requires to be carried by water from Sandwich to Fordwich and that they shall do this for as good a price as they would do it for anyone else.
