Description | From: Robert Casp', rector of Wortham; Alexander Hanekyn of Canterbury, clerk To: William de Dersham The manor of Southchurch in Essex, except those lands and tenements which are of the fees of Polstead ('Polsted') [in Great Wakering?] and 'Norththorp'' [Littlethorp in Southchurch?]. The grant is made to William for life and he is to hold the lands as fully as Robert and Alexander had them recently of his gift and feoffment. For an annual payment of 1 rose, payable as specified. Probably Robert and Alexander's part of indenture. Given at Southchurch [Essex].
