Description | Plaintiff: Robert of Dennington ('Dynyeneton''); Hawis, wife of Robert of Dennington ('Dynyeneton'') Deforciant: John de langhert; Christiana, wife of John de langhert In the king's court at Westminster before Thomas de Weyland, Walter de Helyun, Roger de Leicester and William de Burnton, justices, and others on 25 Nov 1280. John and Christiana acknowledged that 40 acres of land in North Shoebury ('parva Shobyr'') which they hold of Roger and Hawis of Hawis's inheritance as Christiana's dower ('in dotem ipsius Cristiane') is the right of Hawis and returned it to her in they same court. They also quitclaimed to Robert and Hawis for the lands. For this Robert and Hawis granted the lands to John lovetot and Margaret his wife.
