Robert has granted Alice, daughter of 'Dominus' Peter of Southchurch, knight, and one of his heirs, to John in marriage for £100, according to a judgement made before royal justices at Westminster. If Alice dies before 29 Sep, John will not have to pay £50 of this. Also, Robert will hand over to John and Alice the part of the lands and tenements which Alice has inherited from her father, but which Robert has held during the minority of Alice and Joan, her sister.
