For 9 acres of land and an adjoining enclosure ('Tya') [in or near Prittlewell?] for the term of Ranulf's life, which lands Peter recently granted for the term of the life of Juliana le port', Ranulf's wife, as is shown by a chirograph between them. For an annual payment of 1 clove ('clavum Gariofili'), payable as specified for warranty of the land. After Ranulf's death, the fruits of autumn ('fructus autumpnales') and all proceeds of the lands shall remain to his executors until the following 29 Sep.
