William holds the manor of Southchurch in Essex for the term of his life by the demise of Robert Casp', rector of Wortham [Suffolk], Norwich diocese, and Alexander Hanekyn, clerk, of Canterbury. William is bound to pay the priory an annual rent of £20, payable as specified, as is more fully contained in the triplicate indenture concerning it. The priory releases William from this payment and cannot and ought not to distrain or ask for it or oppress him in any way because of it in future.
