Description | From: Henry of Eastry, prior of Canterbury Cathedral Priory; the convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory To: 'Dominus' Peter of Southchurch, knight Peter has obliged himself to pay the priory £100 as arrears of an annual payment of £20 which he owes for the manor of Southchurch for all actions, demands and claims between them concerning this until 22 Aug 1301. The priory remits and relaxes to Peter all offences ('transgressio'), penalties and amercements which he has incurred because of not paying the rent until that date. However, he is to satisfy the priory fully concerning the payment of £100 at the terms specified in his letters of obligation. Peter's part of indenture.
