Description | From: Rose de Hamptone, late wife of Reginald de Hamptone To: Robert Bret of Great Stambridge Robert is to deliver seisin to 'Dominus' Richard of Southchurch of the rent Rose had in North Shoebury for the tenement which was of Nicholas Grapinel in the said vill ('villa'), payable by Nicholas's heirs. Rose commands all her tenants to submit to Richard as they did to her, in accordance with the charter which Richard has from her concerning the feoffment. No date. [Date: handwriting.]
