6 acres of arable land with a lane beside it on the west side and pasture in the middle, with the street leading from Southchurch church to west, the land late of John de Clopton to east, the said common way to north and the land of the demesne ('d'inii') and John de Clopton's land to south. The grant is made in exchange for a tenement in the vill ('villa') of Prittlewell which John Samuell has of Joan's gift. No date. [Date: handwriting.] Original dated 10 Jul 1370 at Southchurch.
Note at bottom of document that is is the gift ('donacio') of John Samuell which W Boteler' held of him coming into ('vienient'' in') the demesne of Southchurch.
