Description | From: John fol enfant To: John son of Reginald Addressed to all his friends and men, French and English. 16 acres of land in Stambridge with 'bollardesgare' to east between the king's highway and the way which goes to the house of Richard de gardino. For an annual payment of 32d, payable as specified, and for the defence ('defensio') of 8 acres as John fol enfant defends just as many of his acres in the same vill ('villa'). For this John son of Reginald has become John fol enfant's man and has also paid him 5s as a gersum fine. He has also paid Petronilla, John's wife, 6d. No date.
