Description | From: Honor ('Annora') del Erbery, widow To: 'Dominus' Richard of Southchurch For 2½ acres of land in the vill ('villa') of Southchurch, lying with Richard's demesne to south, the ditch ('fossatus') which divides the vill of Southchurch and the vill of Great Wakering to north, Richard's land to east and Honor's land to west. For this Richard has paid 2½ marks as a gersum fine. No date. [Date: handwriting and witnesses to other Southchurch charters.]
