13 acres of land with a messuage which Alviva ('Alveva'), aunt of Robert derberi, William's father, held in the vill ('villa') of Southchurch, lying with the king's highway against the messuage of 'Domina' Albreda ('Albretha') of Southchurch to south and the messuage and land of the rector of Southchurch to west. Condition against tenure by religious men or Jews. For an annual payment of 4s 4d, payable as specified, for all services except royal service. For this John has also paid 20 marks as a gersum fine.
