Description | Party: Alan le Somenur; Honor ('Annora'), wife of Alan le Somenur Party: 'Dominus' Richard of Southchurch Alan and Honor have given Richard 3 acres and 1 perch of land in the vill of Southchurch ('dicta villa'), lying between Richard's land on 2 sides, which land was of Alan and Honor, and extending from the way next to 'le heritberi' to south on Richard's demesne. In exchange Richard has given them 5 acres of land which fell to him by the gift of William le bober and Sarah his wife, daughter of William de le heritbir', which land ought to fall to Sarah as her share of that land which Alice who was the wife of William de heritbir' held in dower. Of this land 3½ acres lies between the Alan and Honor's land and the land of William Bous to east and 2 acres lie between the land which was of William de Cheldecote and the way which leads from 'heritbir'' to the market of Great Wakering and between Alan and Honor's land on 2 sides.
