Walter is acting with the consent of Edith ('Ediza') his wife. For the whole of Walter's land in Prittlewell parish of the fee of Warren grapinel. For this Roger has given Walter and Edith 2 acres of land with a messuage in Prittlewell parish, which was of Marsilia Picot. Walter and Edith are to hold the lands for life, as is contained in a chirograph made between them and Roger. No date. [Date: handwriting and witnesses to other Southchurch charters.]
