For 2 crofts of land in Prittlewell parish, of which one is called 'Ascroft' and the other 'blakeveld', which land Richard had of the gift of Hugh le Conestable, Hawis's son and heir. Hawis has sworn in Prittlewell church, before the cross, that if she survives her husband she will never implead or disturb Richard for the said land. For an annual payment of 2 quarters of wheat, 2 quarters of maslin, 2 quarters of barley and 1 quarter of oats, payable as specified. Right of distraint to Hawis if payment in arrears. No date.
