For 7 acres of land in the vill ('villa') of Southchurch, 4 acres lying between Henry's land and the land called 'scawsland' and between Richard's demesne and Henry's land to east and the other 3 acres lying between the king's highway which goes from the vill of Southchurch to North Shoebury and Henry's land to north and between Richard's demesne and Henry's land. For this Richard has paid 100s as a gersum fine. No date. [Date: handwriting and witnesses to other Southchurch charters.]
