A tenement which which he had, jointly with John Maffey, of the gift of Laurence and Marion, his wife, lying in the town ('villa') of Rye with the king's highway to north, a lane leading from the king's highway to the cliff ('Fallisia') of the sea to east, the sea shore to south and the tenement of Laurence lonceforde to west.
Given at Rye [Sussex].
