A tenement in the town ('villa') of Rye, lying with the king's highway to north, a lane leading from the king's highway to the cliff ('Fallisia') of the sea to east, the sea shore to south and the tenement of Laurence Lonceford to west. William Shipman, with John Kepston', clerk, of Sussex, John Wollere of Sussex and John Roberd of Rye had this tenement of the gift of John Coteler, vicar of Rye.
