His capital messuage in 'la lide' and his tenement in the manor of Monks Risborough, containing 2½ acres of land. For an annual payment of 5s to the prior and convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory for 1½ virgates of land, payable as specified, the serjeanty ('seriantaria') which Richard was accustomed to do for ½ a virgate of land and the king's foreign service ('forinsecum serviscium') for 1 virgate of land of Bartholomew de la pande when it falls due, namely the twentieth part of a knight.
