Robert of Upmantone has granted Robert le Hert 3 acres of land in the vill ('vile') of Preston next Faversham, as more fully contained in the charter of feoffment concerning them, and has delivered seisin in the lands to him. Robert le Hert grants that if Robert of Upmantone pays him £10 as specified in the church of Faversham, he (Robert of Upmantone) may re-enter the lands and the charter of feoffment shall be void. If Robert of Upmantone defaults on the payment, the charter and the seisin shall remain in full force.
