The priory grants John 1½ acres of land lying in Preston next Faversham parish in a field called 'Cherchedoune' with the common way to south and west, the land of the heirs of Stephen Lyneche to north and the land of Michael Ive to east. For an annual payment of 2 seams of palm-barley ('ordeum palmal'') as specified, payable as specified in the priory's manor of Copton.
In exchange, John grants the priory 1 acre, 1 roods and 1½ dayworks of land lying in Preston parish in a field called 'Suthdoune' with the priory's land to south and west, the king's highway to north and the land of Peter of Macknade ('manekehauede') [in Preston next Faversham] to east.
