| Description | From: John Garland atte Assche To: Nicholas atte Ok' John has enfeoffed Nicholas with 2 acres of arable land in a croft called 'le Westcroft' next to 'le Mollond' [in or near Odiham], by a charter made to Nicholas which has been given to Richard, chaplain ('capellanus') of Richard atte Ok', to keep. Nicholas will acquit John Garland of 20s owed to John Mayhewe and Agnes, his sister, and will also pay John Garland 15s in instalments, payable as specified in the parish church of Odiham. If Nicholas defaults in either payment, the charter shall be delivered to John Garland, but if the money is paid it shall be delivered to Nicholas. 'Garl'' on plica to left.
