| Description | From: Henry Sturmy To: Richard atte Oke Henry and Richard given a quitclaim in a box sealed with their seals to William de Pylecote, to be guarded by him as a trustee until 1 Sep next. If Henry pays Richard £7 16s, which he has received from Richard, on 21 Sep next or within the 8 days following, the box shall be delivered to Henry. But if Henry defaults on all or part of the payment, the box with the quitclaim shall be delivered to Richard. The document is in three parts: one part, sealed with Henry and Richard's seals, shall remain with William, one, sealed with Henry's seal, shall remain with Richard and the third, sealed with Richard's seal, shall remain with Henry. Given at Henry's courtyard ('curia') at Elvetham [Hampshire].
