The priory, acting sede vacante, has the right to appoint to vacant offices in All Souls College if the warden and fellows fail to do so, in accordance with the college's statutes. The office of subwarden is vacant and the college has failed to appoint anyone within the specified time. The priory therefore appoints William Broke, DCnL and commands the college to accept him.
