Thomas and Isabel are represented by William of Soles, Isabel's proxy ('positus loco ipsius Isabellae'). Thomas acknowledged that 2 messuages, 160 acres of land, 40 acres of pasture, 1 acre of moor ('mora') and a payment of 13s in Nonington, Goodnestone ('Gwodwyneston''), Bekesbourne and Littlebourne are the right of Theobald. For this acknowledgement Theobald grants Thomas and Isabel 1 messuage, 100 acres of pasture and the payment in Goodnestone and Nonington to hold to themselves and Thomas's heirs, and 1 messuage, 60 acres of pasture and the moor in Bekesbourne and Littlebourne to Thomas and Isabel for life, and after their deaths to John, their son, for life, and after John's death to Thomas's heirs.
