The composition between the churches of Canterbury and Norwich relating to jurisdiction during vacancies of the see of Norwich granted all jurisdiction to the archbishop of Canterbury except the right of visiting the chapter, city and diocese of Norwich and investigating and correcting offences discovered at visitation. Details of procedure for appointing an official to exercise this jurisdiction, both when the see of Canterbury is full and when it is vacant. The see of Canterbury is vacant following the death of Archbishop John Morton and Canterbury Cathedral Priory is acting sede vacante. The see of Norwich is vacant following the death of Bishop Thomas Jane, and Norwich Priory nominates John Attilburgh, subprior, Simon Forward, prior of King's Lynn Priory, and William Bakonesthorp', cellarer, so that Canterbury Cathedral Priory can choose one of them to exercise the excepted jurisdiction.
