The grant is made in exchange for the land which Baldwin and Mabel, his wife, sold to the priory, which land belonged to Simon, Thomas's brother, in the division made between them after the death of Adam their father and which Simon sold to Mabel, their sister, and confirmed by his charter. Thomas binds his tenement and all his goods moveable and immoveable to the priory to observe the conditions of this grant. No date. [Date: handwriting.]
