2½ acres and 1 virgate of land in Mongeham parish upon the hill ('mons') 'Lefsiht'' in the valley ('vallis') to south, of which 1 acre, namely the west, lies with the land of the heirs of William of Cobham to west and the land of the heirs of le Gronger to east, the other acre lies with the land of the heirs of William le Brockecherl of 'dale' to west and the land of the heirs of le gronger to east, ½ an acre lies with the heirs of le Gronger to west and the land of the heirs of William de dale to east and 1 virgate lies upon the hill in length to east and in width with the land of the heirs of le gronger to north and the land of Humphrey atte broke to south. For an annual payment of 20d, payable as specified, for all services except royal service. For this Luke has also paid 28s as a gersum fine. No date. [Date: handwriting.]
