| Description | From: John of Elham To: the prior and convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory 2½ acres of marsh in 'smethemers' of the holding ('tenementum') of Great Mongeham ('upmuningeham'). For an annual payment of 13 and one-third pence, payable to him by Alice, daughter of John the clerk, as specified in his house at Mongeham for the 2½ acres and for 3 acres and 1 virgate of arable land which John sold to the priory previously, together with 13 and one-third pence rent in the vill of Great Mongeham ('eadem villa').
