Description	From: Wimund of Mongeham, son of Wimund of Shuttlesfield [in Lyminge] To: the prior and chapter of Canterbury Cathedral Priory Wimund grants the priory the whole of his tenement of Great Mongeham ('hupmunigeham') and quitclaims for the tenement of Great Mongeham which was of John de Munte, his grandfather ('avus'). For an annual payment of 1d quit-rent ('forisgabulum'), payable as specified in the priory's treasury at Canterbury. For this the priory has also paid 60 marks as a gersum fine. Witnesses: Simon de grenewaya; John of Ripple; Henry the smith ('faber'); William, son of Henry the smith; Ivo de trex; Thomas de la sole; Thomas de la dene; Thomas of Cooting [in Adisham]; John of Adisham; Richard of Bossington [in Adisham]; Hugh Foleth; Thomas de cottun'; William pedelewre Endorsed with description and note of registration in late 13th cent hands.
