Details supplied from published versions, cited below.] Inspeximus of a petition (in English, recited), submitted to the parliament summoned on 6 Oct 1472 and continued to 9 May 1474, asking the king to agree to the appointment of commissioners of sewers as was done in 6HenVI [1427-1428] and subsequently because lands in Kent and Sussex and the marches of Calais, Guînes and Hammes [all Pas-de-Calais, France] are increasingly being damaged by water. Also inspeximus of the king's consent (in French, recited). No date. [Date: handwriting and date of original.] Original dated 12 Jul 1474, at Westminster.
