Very faded and only clearly legible under ultra violet light.] Grant of liberties and privileges as specified, including the right to waifs and strays and the right of free warren and exemption from royal taxation and purveyance and from corrodies or enforced hospitality against the priory's will. Mentions the priory's possessions in the provinces of Canterbury and York in general terms, but no details given. Dated Aug 1372, rest of date lost. [A grant of this kind was made to Dartford Priory on 12 Aug 1372, see Kent VCH II, p183.]
