Description	From: [the prior of Canterbury Cathedral Priory] To: Thomas Barbon' [Fragment only. Sense unclear.] Apparently appointing Thomas as rent collector for the manor of Merstham [Surrey]. Dated 7 Feb in the 7th year [king's name lost], but Thomas was bedel of Merstham from 1491/2 (see DCc/MA/7, f166v). Endorsed with list of rentals delivered to Thomas and part of a note referring to the manors of Walworth and Vauxhall in late 15th cent hands.
