John Coventre, John Carpenter and William Grove have founded a college in honour of the Holy Spirit and the Blessed Virgin Mary consisting of five chaplains ('capellanus'), one of whom shall be master, and the others clerks and choristers, to celebrate divine service daily in the parish church of St Michael Paternoster Royal ('de Paternostercherche in Riola'), London, of which the priory is the patron. The members of the college are to pray for the king while he lives and for his soul after his death and for the souls of Richard and others named by his executors. John Coventre, John Carpenter and William Grove have appointed 'Dominus' William Brooke, chaplain, rector of St Michael's, as master of the college and propose that in future the rectors should always be masters of the college, as well as rectors of the parish. The priory consents to this arrangement. It has also, at the request of John Coventre, John Carpenter and William Grove, granted William Estfeld', Everard, John Wasshbourne and Richard the right to nominate one of the chaplains of the college, as master when the church becomes vacant and agrees to present their nominee to the church. The candidate is to be elected by the chaplains of the college, within one month after the vacancy and announced to the wardens or, if this cannot be done, he is to be nominated by the wardens within five months. Reserving an annual pension of 5s, which has been paid by the rectors of St Michael's, payable by the master to the priory. Given at the chapter house of Canterbury Cathedral Priory.
