Hugh appoints Richard, John, William and Thomas as his proctors to act for him in visitations, both by the authority of King Edward VI and by the authority of Thomas Cranmer, archbishop of Canterbury, at which he is bound to appear by reason of his canonry and prebend, also to act for him is any cases arising from the visitations, take the oath of obedience to the king, receive any injunctions and generally act on his behalf. Sealed with the seal as causas for the archdeaconry of Surrey [no longer present].
