The king, wishing to prevent disputes between his subjects and those of the Grand Master, gives William and John the power to settle all disputes between them and between the king's allies, especially Eric VII, king of Denmark, Sweden and Norway, and their subjects and the Grand Master's subjects. He also empowers them to seek an oath from the Grand Master or his representatives, to declare the privileges the king has granted to the merchants of the Hanse and do anything else necessary to conclude this matter.
