Sense unclear.] The stone house in the parish of All Saints, Canterbury, which was of Mayner le Riche...[and which Stephen bought of] the prior and convent of Leeds Priory, in All Saints parish, Canterbury, [lying with]... Eastbridge Hospital, the messuage which was of Aaron the Jew... Dated EdwI, rest of date lost. [Date: Edward I's reign began on 20 Nov 1272. Agnes of Gore acquired the house from Stephen in 1278 (see DCc-ChAnt/C/770A). There is only one bailiff of Canterbury named, and, according to William Urry, Chief Citizens of Canterbury, Ralph Franceis was sole bailiff in 1278-1279 or 1279-1280.]
