Eastbridge Hospital, the messuage which was of Aaron the Jew... Dated EdwI, rest of date lost. [Date: Edward I's reign began on 20 Nov 1272. Agnes of Gore acquired the house from Stephen in 1278 (see DCc-ChAnt/C/770A). There is only one bailiff of Canterbury named, and, according to William Urry, Chief Citizens of Canterbury, Ralph Franceis was sole bailiff in 1278-1279 or 1279-1280.]
