| Description | From: 'Dominus' Roger Savage, knight To: the prior and convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory In £9 9s 4d, 50s for the pasture and marsh of Warden [in Sheppey], 101s for stock of the same marsh, 13s 4d for the pasture of Rushenden [in Minster in Sheppey] and 25s for stock of the same marsh, payable in the priory's treasury at Canterbury on 1 Nov 1299. He binds all his goods with the payment. If he fails to make the payment on the date specified and he dies and his testament is to be proved ('viribus careat et effectu'), none of his goods shall be distributed until the debt has been paid. For greater security, Roger has provided John Dokin and William Turpyn as sureties. Given at Canterbury.
